Robert Half Technology is helping us provide some great silo-breaking networking with a pay-it-forward twist. We’ll mix up the creative, tech, retail, professional, and services sectors to shake well, stir things up, spur new thinking, drive new ideas forward – all in support of great learning opportunities for the kids in our area.
We’ll have our usual door-prize array – two $50 gift cards to local businesses, winners keep one and find someone in the crowd to pay-it-forward to with the second gift card – and we’ll be playing networking bingo. With, of course, a twist – it will be all about our LinkedIn profiles. So study up on yourself and your network, and come play with us!

VirginiaFIRST is the Virginia-based affiliate of FIRST, an international non-profit mentoring organization that was created to excite young people about science and technology, prepare today’s students to enter the advanced technology-based workplace of tomorrow, and provide them with life skills that will prove valuable in the future.
VirginiaFIRST works with FIRST program partners to deliver hands-on project-based learning programs and activities to over 5,000 children in kindergarten through 12th- grade. FIRST Programs include the Junior FIRST LEGO® and FIRST LEGO® League, FIRST Tech Challenge, and FIRST Robotics Competition.
Success is based on community support from sponsors and hundreds of volunteers who mentor teams and support activities and events. This support furthers VirginiaFIRST‘s mission to make interactive STEM-based programs available to every student in Virginia.
LILRVA is co-presented by RichTech, Virginia Council of CEOs, Venture Richmond, PRSA Richmond, the Venture Forum,the Richmond Ad Club, Social Media Club Richmond, the Greater Richmond Partnership,and the National Assn. of Women Business Owners-Richmond.

Hey Sara + Jessica – we don’t have a membership fee. Event tickets are typically $10 or less, unless we’re raising funds for one of our non-profit colleagues. The dates are on the site: April 3, June 5, October 9, and a date in September that isn’t nailed down yet. Keep an eye on our home page, we’ll be opening registration for the April 3 edition within the next week!
